Our Campus

Thomas’s Clapham occupies a prominent Victorian red-brick building, perfectly positioned on Broomwood Road between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common. This location makes the school easily accessible and highly convenient for families in the local area. Behind our historic facade lies a large, inspiring environment purpose-built for learning.

Inside, our pupils benefit from specialist facilities designed to nurture every pupil’s academic and creative potential. Classrooms are bright, stimulating and resourced to the highest standards. We are exceptionally proud of the recent, state-of-the-art renovation of our top floor, which has created a dedicated, dynamic learning environment specifically for our Upper School pupils. This bespoke space fosters independence, leadership and scholarship as our oldest children prepare for their transition to senior school.

Beyond the classroom, we understand that physical activity and outdoor play are vital for joyful learning and wellbeing. Thomas’s Clapham is exceptionally fortunate to offer expansive outdoor spaces right on site. A true highlight for our pupils is ‘Dragon’s Den’ – a fantastic, purpose-built outdoor recreation area designed to spark imagination, encourage physical development and allow children to simply enjoy their childhood to the fullest.

Combined with the lush, open green spaces of the two neighbouring commons just a short walk away, our campus truly offers the best of both worlds. We provide a secure, resource-rich haven for our pupils to thrive, right in the heart of a vibrant and welcoming local community.
